VotD: Where …… Happens
By: chris | March 20th, 2008If you’ve seen the NBA Commercials, this will make a whole lot of sense (and be quite beautiful as well). If you haven’t, checking one of these out beforehand might be helpful.
* - I’ll conjure up some words soon, until then Marco will be doing his mercato thing at some point as we try to forget losing to yet another small team.

what does everyone think of the possibility of the americans buyin roma? gonna generate a lot mroe funds n will most likely result in a consistant roma. i like how the sensi family has been operating roma lately but if they dont got the money to stay with the market it may be time for a change. what do u think chris?

lamagica, chill out. since when did i ruffle your feathers so badly? i’ve stated many times already on your board here that i actually have NO problem whatsoever with Roma. In fact, I’d prefer a Roman title to one of Inter-merda ANY DAY (I think that might be the 5th time I brought that up). The only problem I have is with some of the commenters on this blog…not ALL. Gabriella and JCS being the most level-headed amongst all of you (or at least amongst those with which I’ve had interaction).
The big problem I had was the fact that there were some hypocritical statements coming from some of you that were derogatory and denigrating and really had no place on this site.
Nonetheless, when it comes down to it, I can only speak on my own behalf. I can’t sit here and defend KJ - he does his own thing, that’s his deal. However, what I will say is that I have long buried the bitterness from the Roma-Palermo game and moved on. I assume the supposed “allegiances” stem from the comments I put on the Lazio blog, which, under the cirucmstances seem perfectly fine. Since when has theoffside stated that you can only post on YOUR squad’s blog? Come on, if you examine my posts, you’d see I post ALL OVER the Serie A site, so my “allegiances” are only to Palermo and Serie A in general.
If we can agree on anything (which there are plenty of things to agree with), it’s that I most certainly AM rooting for Roma in the CL. I would love to see them pay MAN U back. So, hopefully, they can represent Serie A well and send that whiny diver Ronaldo back to that trash of a league known as EPL.
Vabbe’? Un saluto!

Next season a 3 men defence with Barzagli, Mexes and Juan. 2 wingbacks in Vargas/Dossena and Cicinho. Central of the midfield will be De Rossi, Aquilani and Perrotta (or a new signing to play next to De Rossi which means KA behind the 2 strikers) and the forwards be Totti and Vucinic (or Gomez or Klaas jan Huntelaar or Amauri or whoever we are interested in)

“It would be great to reopen the title race and it would have a special taste after Calciopoli. After everything that has happened, I would rather Roma won the Scudetto.”
-TrezI agree. Forza Juve, fuck Inter. I’m excited to see the pro-Juve sentiment on this board.

when Calciopoli broke I just couldnt believe it. I liked most of Juve players eg. Cannavaro, Zambrotta and Buffon…etc. I thought my goodness! they must feel being cheated on like in a marriage when you find out that your partner has been up to no good. And I felt so sad for the true fans for being betrayed.
I would be absolutely heartbroken if any teams that I support in any sports if found guilty in any ways, like the Hungarian hammer throwing Olympic gold medallist who were found guilty of doping… felt terrible.
I hope Trez shows up for this match and Juve gives as good as it gets.

What the, gazzetta reporting Aquilani and mancini are in Juve sights. Inter still interested in Aquilani. Borrielo on Roma’s radar and Madrid wants Mister as their next coach.

I dont see Aquilani being sold or leaving … not so for Mancini, I always thought he would. We’ll see!
Good to see that Spal is getting some recognition in Spain.

Goal.com is reporting that Milan will buy back Marco Borriello and sell him to Roma this summer. I hadn’t seen him much but in the youtube vids he looked very impressive. What do you guys think? I think he’s currently top scorer in Serie A as well.

Juve can look and be interested in Aqui and Mancini all they want.
There is no chance in hell they will go there next season or EVER.

I read that on Goal.com (but who can believe a word they say).
It’s an interesting idea. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

What about a tridente attack with Totti Vuci and Borriello???
Mamma Mia.

That’s what I was thinking Daniele. But we can take it with a grain of salt until summer.

What Daniele? The system for next season? yeah. Think that will happen tho maybe somewhere down the line. STD or not that girl looks nice haha.. Ah well. No Juan tomorrow guess we see a OMR - My last name Ferrari but I’m not that elegant like a Ferrari as central duo. Hopefully Cicinho and Tonetto on the left and rightside.

If Spal learned anything from Lazio, he will never put Cici anywhere on the left.
HE is a RB.
In some ways I agree with your opinions. In other ways I don’t.
Juan has been gutting it out. His ankle is fucked. But he is toughing it out.
He is imo one of the best signings since Mexes.
