Amazing video… gave me the chills!

Awesome video. What do you guys think about Amauri: Italy Over Brazil. I think no thanks doesn’t even have any relations to Italy; already have crappy Carmonesi, who doesn’t even know the Italian national anthem.

I’ve been through this surgery 3 times, as much as it hurts to say it he will not be back in 4 months. We should consider ourselves lucky if he makes it back in less than 6.
Man I’m going to miss watching him play.Posted from

Yeah, the ACL surgery is bad news. 6 months would be for a golf players, but someone so dependent on sudden movement could just as easily screw up his knee again when he’s almost back. Unlike the ankle, you absolutely can not rush this healing process. I have actually prepared myself to be watching Francesco announce his retirement. Whether it be from this injury or the next injury he sustains, he is going to retire soon. His body is breaking down, we have been so dependent on him, and he has been the most fouled player in serie A forever which has taken a collective toll. It’s a damn good thing that new ownership is a possibility now.

I will miss watching him play, and wish him a speedy recovery, but I will not miss our club pass on big name strikers because France’ e France’.
Takeover or no takeover, it’s time to step up our strategy. I love Cicinho and he’s my fave non-italian in our side, but I still stand by the fact that we didn’t need to splash that kind of money on right back who is not even clear cut 1st choice. As Lippi said, Roma should have pooled their resources together and bought a champion attacker this past summer. We didn’t, and now we see the result.

Stefano you might not like the fact that he plays for the Nazionale but you would have to be blind to not see that Camoranesi has been the best player for Italy in the last few months and probably the best midfielder in Serie A.
If you guys think Totti getting injured is painful, imagine if he got badly injured when he was young and never was the same.

Alessio, che cazzo dice …
Surely your first sentence was a piss take.

“6 months would be for a golf players”, remember Emerson in the scudetto-season 2000-2001. He had exactly the same injury :
http://www2.raisport.rai.it/news/sport/calcio/200008/19/399ece2e01bc2/
and he returned without problems after Prof.Mariani operated on him :
http://www.asromaultras.org/0001romanapoli.html
I think 4 months is a realistic estimate.Prof.Mariani even said that Totti’s knee looked great, he had expected more wear and tear of the cartilage for a football-player older than 30.

4 Months.
Partial tear.
It came from Mariani’s mouth.
4 months.
Our captain will be back for the next season, which is very close!!
He is Roman, a fighter. He will be back.

Zack.
Go hide under a rock.
If Cecco can stay healthy next season, we will see him for 3 or 4 more years.
Dont speak those words again mi amico

i completely tore my ACL and am back to full speed playing after about 5 months, but then again I’m 16 and Totti is 31..
4 months is realistic for a partial tear

4 Months.
“Partial tear.

KJ,
Yeah I am fucking serious you piece of shit. The Dr. said 4 months. Did you bother to read about it, or just read goal.com.
You want to see how serious I can be?
The man fucking nearly had his ankle bone pop out his god damn skin and made it back to help your fucking country (if you are italian your a god damn disgrace) win the god damn mother fucking world cup. So if your going to come over here and shit on every post I write, and say some little bullshit like “Are you serious?” Dont. Don’t feel the need to express your opinion on everything I say, or shitting on our team and our opinions. Keep that shit tucked in between your ears cazzo.
Grow the fuck up little man, and keep your stupid ass comments to yourself cause no one feels like fucking reading them.
So in turn, YEAH IM MOTHER FUCKING SERIOUS DICK.
He is our captain, my idol, my favourite player. The symbol of our club, and a fucking gutty ass dude. Could you say the same? By your actions, thats a big fuck no.
Yeah I am fucking pissed he is hurt, and hate to see him out, so if I say some shit about it, and wanna make my shit known, then don’t come over here and make me seem like I am some two headed retard who supports a shit ass mid table team who changes coaches almost as much as you change your fucking tune.
You got a problem with that? Its not my fault your idol is some piece of shit like Cazzani or Diana.
You keep acting like a little punk and see how far it gets you in life.
Keep your little stupid ass comments to yourself, because if you don’t I will feel the need to be uncordial and flip the fuck out on you. I am tired of having you always come over and say some dumb shit. Keep tucked in between your ears, and think to yourself, “Im a little ass punk, that probably shouldnt speak and act like a twat.”
Vaffanculo.

let’s get one thing straight you Babbo. Im the Capo di Tutti Capi around here, so no need to talk out of your ass to me. Let him heal completely without rushing him to an unfit start.

my friend who is the best sprinter on my colleges track team, tore his ACL in june and was back sprinting in november. granted sprinting and making magic like il capitano does are two different things. but that is just to give you an idea as to how fast people can be back to normal

The Totti injury at this time of the season is a disaster. But just to see the positive that may come out of this– the management needs to officially start planning for the post-Totti era, however painful it is for everyone. From next season, Roma should be prepared to think of having Totti on the field as a huge bonus, not the necessary element to play well as a team. It may be better for him too to if roma are not so dependent on him, so he never feels rushed to play even when he is not 100%.

Totti is legendary, but he is not bigger than the team as nobody is bigger than a club. We’ll be alright no matter what happens. The irony is that the only guy who can play Totti’s spot like Totti can is the guy that Roma wouldn’t pay when he wanted it and the guy that most Roma fans condemn, Cassano.

Maybe there are some out there who still think that Cassano could and should have found a long-term home at one club, and that club is Roma. Maybe he would be back if he was wanted, but will he ever be welcome again in rome? To think of the future he can have and that he is only 25 is still mind-boggling.

It does not look as if Toulouse are going to get relegated? Can anyone confirm that Mathieu is on a free?

Get one more thing straight.
If you come here and act like a fool, dont expect me to retort in a reasonable manner.
Frocio.

And Capo di Tutti Capi?
I dont care who the fuck you are.
You troll around dissing people and disagreeing with everything Chris says, and what I say.
Non desiderate conoscere chi sono. Ma non devo dirvi. Conservazione giusta la bocca chiusa.

That’s not without merit, though, Zack.
I’d trust Cassano on the team like I’d trust Mutu to safeguard a bag of Bogota Fun Dip.
Sure, Totti went nuts at Livorno last season, but two public sobbing meltdowns in a two month period is exactly what we don’t need. Especially the one with the jersey where he started crying in the tunnel entrance because he realized what he’d done.
It’s obvious by the massive group hug in the community today that we’re all looking to find solace in mercato, whether it’s the Barca fire sale, or wooing Huntelaar with the promise of scooters and clingy t-shirts with glittery English words on them. Or yes, entertaining a man who has a term for “fuck-up” coined for him.
I’m still hanging onto the narrow fantacalcio idea that we can intercept Zambro and buy both an awesome striker and a great midfielder if the Sensis sell to the best bidder. In the meantime, I hope Zambro can help cock block Rooney, Tevez, and CRonaldo on Wednesday. My blood pressure depends on it.

I don’t want Cassano now, but I don’t think it would have hurt us to have paid him what he wanted at that point. The fact he lost it a bit wasn’t news for us, but he never gave up (something we could use in certain instances) and wore his emotions on his sleeve. He was the second coming at that point, and he wouldn’t have spiraled like he did when we didn’t pay him if we had paid him. I will repeat that I don’t want him now though.
On a separate note, I have an unhealthy man crush on Ben Arfa now. His skill and explosion could be quite useful for us.
