this news about Inter’s possibly illegal shenanigans in betting etc is a two-edged sword, sad to say..even if they find evidence and dock points etc– imagine the damage again to serie a and italian football. On the one hand, good for roma, but v. bad for the credibility of the league just when it is somewhat beginning to recover from calciopoli.

    http://www.calciomercato.com/index.php?c=21&a=81303

“Inter phone taps found but little has been released so far. It started with wiretaps investigating drug trafficking regarding sporting agent Donato Brescia. Apparantly a bunch of Intertristi were caught betting on their own scudetto “triumph” last year (Sinisa, Mancini, Zanetti).”

You mean that scandal or the other one?

Just noticed, we have scored more goals than anyone else in the league:

Another interesting fact is that Capitano has the most goals/games ratio in league.

ADP: 19 goals in 36 games played (0.52)
Trezegay: 19 goals in 35 games played (0.54)
Borriello: 19 goals in 34 games played (0.55)
Totti: 14 goals in 25 games played (0.56)

Of course, that doesn’t make him capocannoniere. But, being only 5 goals away from the top-scorer spot even after missing 2-3 months of the season clearly indicates how prolific he is when he’s healthy :-) .

I wish inter players bet on themselves winning the scudetto, and lose. The video is helping me complete a 2500 word lab report on fluid dynamics. Keep up the good work.

Di Michele was banned 3 months for betting. Wonder if the same will be done for Zanetti and an unemployed Mancini.

3 month ban won’t hurt Inter that much.. We need them to be deducted points this season.. 3 at least. I wouldn’t mind taking last season’s scudetto. We would be the team with the lowest points total to win a scudetto.. haha

Given the fact that both Milan and Inter changed the rules when confronted with financial irregularities, I would not expect anything more than a slap on the wrist.
