yes, i dont think there is much hope to land quaresma either and there would likely be a bidding war for him (and lopez) regardless of whether porto actually get relegated. he’s arguably their most prized asset and he’s been in demand by many top tier teams for a while now.
gabriella, i did read inter were hot on him as a replacement for figo but i also read most recently that they’ve come to terms with diego capel. not sure if they have any agreement with sevilla yet, though.

Any news about Messias.. His loan is bound to be over by now and we haven’t heard any news about Roma signing him..

the fact that we havent heard much probably says a lot, unfortunately. it would be great to find another diamond in the rough like mancini.

I only know that he has been training with the team for some time now.

Careca stated that Roma signed him.

anyone see that Aquilanis agent is saying Alberto wants to play for real?
http://www.romanews.eu/news.asp?newsID=4009&pag=2
so at worst we’d have to get a left back, striker, winger, centreback and midfielder…Posted from

Johnny? do you have an article about that?

mkm… that was reportted by marca … according to them he said this on the radio
It was probably something like this: would Aquilani like to play in Real? I dont know a player who wouldnt… or something similar.
Marca is like goal.com sometimesMutu just scored for the Viola, they are 1 up on PSV
good matchPosted from

hmmmm, well isnt that great news about alberto. lets just hope its typical spanish ‘reporting’.
granted, if you are being interviewed by a madrid radio station and asked such a question, it may be just a polite and diplomatic response, especially given the relative prestige of real. although i have to say that my gut feeling is that we not have alberto around as a ‘lifer’ at roma.

The Messias thing. And about Aquilani, don’t believe what Marca, Sport or whatever is writing. Conti already said that Aquilani was untouchable. This is what his agent said earlier: http://www.laromasiamonoi.it/?action=read&idnotizia=1133

didn’t inter already reach an agreement with diego capel?

Funny you should say Marca is like Goal.com because goal.com is actually reporting that Aquilani’s agent said, ‘It’s safe to say that Alberto wants to stay in Rome’.
If Goal.com says that, you know there’s no truth in the rumours.
FORZA VIOLA!
Scary stat guys.
United hasn’t lost by more than two goals in the CL.

Spalletti,
If you read this blog please please always play this formation, all your life (at least until Vuci looks so much faster than Mancini). With Giuly ready to come on anytime, and Panucci in the last 10 minutes.——–Doni/Curci——

Spalletti,
Scusa dimenticavo. KA e’ Alberto Aquilani. Il soprannome gliel’ha dato Chris, che e’ il capo qui.

Everyone’s favourite owngoal provider is out for 15 to 20 days. (he’ll have arthroscopic surgery on his knee — one article said 15 -10, this says 20)
