Video Of The Day: Shhhhh

By: chris | December 7th, 2007

Don’t tell Rodrigo he’s not a striker, he’s under the illusion that he’s a goal scoring machine. Fine by me. Rodrigo’s striking illusions in the kit set to The Greatest Song Of All Time (that’s official). And a little legendary Taddei after the jump.

    Super Taddei !!
He’s a pure Romanista. I forgot how much I missed his goal celebration of his had pumping under his jersey like his heart jumping out of his chest. Fucking brilliant he’s back. Just in time to score on Manure at the Olimpico like the last time. I know the match is meaningless points wise but priceless for honor. I hope we destroy them.

hah! I guessed “the final countdown” before the video started… Not that I really agree that it’s the
“greatest,” that has to go to Bo Rhap ;)

Nevertheless, Taddei is one of our greatest assets. He’s hard working, skilled, consistent, a great two-way player, doesn’t demand very much money, and genuinely seems to love playing for Roma. 10 Golden stars on his report card. I’m thinking of honouring his name on my next jersey (one of the wicked blaaaaack ones).

taddei was the steal of the century, one of those under rated players who needed a team to accept how he plays and let him thrive. forza taddei…and its good to have him back!

Let’s pay Taddei what he’s worth before the Interserpent does. May be penny wise but it’s pound foolish.

Ah… Europe? That qualifies as a hair band, you know. I like it.

I like Taddei, but he is one ugly mother F’er.

I guess you all know something called placebo effect. Well, that’s something we can all experience sometime in our life. It means that something will happen if we really believe it can happen.

So I like to believe that some players, even though not exactly world class players, under the influence of the curva sud and the local press can perform beyond their limits and overachieve under the placebo effect.

I have a feeling Vucinic and Taddei could be two of them. If we all keep saying they are amazing strikers they will eventually believe it and may end up scoring 15-20 goals a season.

Succesful people in the world are not the ones who are capable, but the ones who truly believe they are. Chico

Taddei is awesome, when I went to a Roma match in germany last summer, he was the only person to come near the crowd and wave. He even gave someone his jersey!

Taddei — odd-looking, ugly…my wife & I have called him Skeletor since we first saw him in Serie A. He is one scary, skull-faced badass. Long may he continue to bang ‘em in for Roma! And hey, maybe for Gli Azzurri next summer(!?)
