Are you using an internet connection powered by a hamster on a treadmill? I used my building’s internet connect – way, way slow – to DL the game on another computer and it took less than an hour.

I have time and respect for Cassetti’s grinta and gut-wrenching effort which he gives 100% of the time but … EFF me do I wish he was a natural left footed player when hurling forward and overlapping. See Max’s 2nd half in Madrid … diamond after diamond ball being sent in … if only they could be MORPHED!
They can, actually, it’s called Vargas.

Hey Jeff thats y I became a Roma fan also. I was in Rome in 2001 when they actually won it and peple were going nuts in the street beeping and screaming people crying it was madness I loved it.

Oh snap that is awesome Bashar! With Vargas adding to our depth and maybe a Boriello addition? I was reading one of Chris’ poss from a few days ago comparing our current squadra and that of a few years back when we were competing in the UEFA cup, imagine if the same percentage of progress is made in the next two years, the CL and Scudetto would achievable goals at the beginning of the season.
What ever happened to the Di Natale rumors?

We should send them Pit to Catania as a makeweight in getting the sale price down. all on board say aye

Yeah, Jeff, don’t let varying opinions discourage you. Cassetti didn’t have a great game, but in order for someone to exploit his mistakes, some else has to have screwed up as well. Cassetti was caught in limbo because they kept beating our mids. Cassetti is like Pizarro and Panucci, not a great starter, but a great guy to have stand in for the starters which makes him just as important to the team.

Is anyone else starting to think that it might be in our best interest to try to cash in on Aquilani? I will give him one more season before I stand by it firmaly, but he has been hurt an awful lot. I can’t honestly say I would turn down 25 million for him considering he gets hurt an awful lot. With that we could buy Veloso or Moutinho who are probably every bit as good and more durable. I’m not ready to give up on him yet, but seriously.

Zack. Sorry, but stupid comment. He will be awesome, and if he wants to leave then he should have his legs broken as he came up through rome and it means he has learned nothing about being a ferocious wolf suckling brother. In other news: Not rome related, I dont care, you guys are the only opinions I care about, so I want to voice mine, and would like to hear yours. DelP. Utter garbage in my opinion. A goal against mexico, a goal in Germany that was meaningless and would have been missed if it meant anything… How can we not take Cassano? I know he’s insane, I know he’s a baby, but no other guy born on our peninsula can come in at 80 and have a chance of winning a game on his own. He is the most talented native italian, and although I hate his antics and would give anything for him to get it together, there is no denying he is twice the player Del Piero is, and has already done as much for the Azzurri at 26

Well, I agree Cassetti is huge comparing with what we paid for him. I said this all season long…Roma is overachieving this season! Big time! Roma is overachieving every season in the last 3 or 4 years.
What’s the news with that Gyorgy Soros, Gabriella?? I bet you are pumped up about this, huh??Posted from

I am pumped about a possible Soros take over but it is a game of patience.
I dont know about any new newsPosted from

I have a feeling that the Soros front is going to be very quiet until about six weeks from now. It’s probably in the best interest of the players not to disrupt their concentration on the scudetto by talking about new ownership and what could affect next season.

To stay on topic, MarCass has been a real workhorse this season, even with those bad bumps he’s taken on his shoulder. Big ups!
