The Return?
By: chris | June 15th, 2008Didn’t register until long after I’d read the rumor that Lippi may be coming back. And regardless of whether or not you believe the validity of the rumor, most will admit it’s a strong possibility. Lippi’s said many times the door is open, and so hasn’t someone else…
Will he? Say it’s so.

I agree, alessio. I remember saying that Trezegol should have been there. France didnt really have a targetman just to finish the job. He is like Superpippo, just poppes up and scores. France scored only 1 goal in their 3 matches and didnt have many chances unlike Italy with Toni and others

I was watching the match with around 50 people and they were passing comments like: “this guy is owning the whole place”.
Which kept bringing smiles on my face: “yes, us Roma fans have gotten used to that”.

Even if Real/Chelsea whoever the fuck it is offer me 100million for DDR , i am not letting him go EVER.
He is “only” 24 and look at him , fucking awesome.
Imagine another couple of years when he gets in his prime , fuck going to be awesome. I will just pay to watch him train. Brilliant player. He is going to carry the entire team on his shoulder once Totti decides to hang up his boots.

DDR UEFA MOTM. The world is just starting to realise what he’s capable of.
If DDR and KA play together vs Spain it may get exciting.

Don must be banging his head against walls for realizing what a huge mistake it was not to start DDR vs Holland.
He plays against Romania, he saves Don’s ass.
He *starts* against France. He owns everyone. He wins the MOTM.
Bashar, I came here for my vacations. Had actually lived here for 12 years before that.

i really dont expect King Alberto to start a game as important as the quarter-finals against spain, when he wasnt deemed good enough to start in the group games, donadoni and his stupid hard-on for ac milan and ambro in particular.
ideally i’d like this
buffon
zambro-panucci-chiellini-grosso
perrotta-de rossi-aqui
di natale-toni-cassanoi reckon borriello should get some time vs spain unless toni finds his scoring touch

I lived in Jeddah for 11 years. 1990-2001.
Anyway.. my sister came back from her Italy trip and send me a package a week later.. In it was a mini Totti diadora football, a Roma flag (which I am trying to hang up on the wall), and an Italy football boot keychain.
She’s the best.. I think she deserves a mention.

There are lots of Roma fans in Arab countries. They even have their own (very active — around 17,000 members) forums at http://www.roma4ever.net/ (I can’t understand much written in there but they used to be my prime source of Roma information once upon a time).

Lived in Dubai for 24 years and boy The Roma fan following out there is tremendous. Its Roma / Juve / Inter and then Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Used to be amazing watching the games there as the arabs who follow their team can get very very vocal. The atmospehere they all generate is brilliant.
Thats why when talk of Sheikh Mohammad from Dubai came up as a possible buyer i was ecstatic cause he is ardent Roma follower and the money he can bring in is unimaginable + he is passionate abt football. Better than Soros for me.

DDR’s “market value” would be around 25-30 million euros. Other than that, he’s the very definition of the word “priceless”.

Dhaw, in which part of dubai there is an excellent place to see the game with that atmosphere? There is a hotel, pub, bar???

Tack.. If Pepe goes for 30 mn euros, your valuations are very VERY low.. A lot of them need to be doubled..
