I wrote something. It was good. But not that good. And now it’s gone. Gone gone gone. I’m too tired to rewrite it right now. So here’s the gist:

  Naeem, I think it is to do with expectations. Rumours said that the takeover is imminent and it doesnt look like it so tifosi lost a bit of faith as far as I can see (some think this is like the Nafta takeover 4 yrs ago and nothing came off that)

  I dont know if Soros has offered 70 million euros, but if he has I hope we dont use alot of it. This summer we should do it like the Sensi’s were still in charge, buy who we were thinking of buying and not make any rash decisions because of all the money we now have. Id say spend reasonably, and maybe splash a little more money on 1 to 2 players.

  If we start splashing the cash around, other clubs will try to take advantage of us. I say we get Mathieu for free, Vargas or Domizzi for 5-10 mn euros, and then set aside 40 million for 2 more players (FW/LM/AM).
