Prade’s Son: Pre-season at Trigoria is rubbish (just like Lazio ;-) ). At that time it can easily be over 35 degrees. Training in heights is not so hot and better for the fitness levels.

So Werder Bremen are through as Udinese are getting trounced!! Hamburg are up as well but at least Man City has an away goal. I’m hoping one of those 2 teams goes out and Hamburg looks like the likely candidate.

does anyone else think it might be a blessing in disguise for us not to make the champions league? if we could focus on just the scudetto, we might be able to win it, as we wouldn’t have as many injuries and tiredness. of course theres the uefa cup, but we could always just concentrate on the scudetto, there wouldnt be as great a desire to sacrifice bodies. uefa cup is just a bit more serious than italian cup…

Ya. The money we get from just the group stage of the CL is more than winning the UEFA Cup.

Udinese with a lifeline.. Fab Quags scored a late away goal.. Still tough to beat Werder 2-0 at home though.

Apparently Quags had a huge miss in the 92nd minute.. It could have been 3-2 to Werder and Udinese would be sitting much prettier…

    Bullshit.com on Totti

Roma captain Francesco Totti continues to struggle with injuries and is a doubt to feature in the Rome derby against Lazio this Saturday. The Giallorossi medical staff will make a decision on whether the player can take part in the important match on Friday, according to ANSA.

The good news is the swelling in his knee is beginning to subside and the captain underwent several drills during Thursday’s training session at Trigoria.

Udinese should have won, ridiculous result they were completely dominant. Hanburg should have beaten city by 7 or 8 goals, even lawrenson said that on tv3. Only for given.

In relation to the stadio olimpico and crowds, i was at the roma v arsehole match and it was maybe 65,000? when they charg 118euro for a ticket when you can go to a serie a match for around ten euro then its hardly surprising they cant fill it.

To compete next year we have to buy. It was evident that we lacked real depth this year so we need to buy some players. If that means selling Menez, Aquilani, Perrotta, then so be it. I’d like us to buy that twente striker, the so called ‘Next Ibrahimovic’, and maybe Subotic and another midfielder, while also bringing Rosi, Andreolli, etc back. Also buy Motta and Curci’s remianing contract.

Jacob, selling Aquilani and Menez to buy and bring back players that have done even less at the top level is counter productive. Subotic would be a Loria replacement with future potential. Arnautovic won’t get PT unless everyone that could possibly play attack drops dead.

Being able to realistically talk about buying three or four young, promising players that have done well in slightly lesser leagues would be a step in the right direction. The thing that worries me the most about not making the CL is that it could be the last time we are even contenders for CL qualification with the Sensis in charge. That is always a possibility.

The Erividisie defenders allowed a guy to score 34 goals (alfonso alves) and said player has gone on to score a total of 13 goals in all competitions in the last two years. For the record, those are julio baptista numbers.

So Adriano has decided to Quit eh.

Another one bites the dust. Sad.
Most of the times he looked selish but one cant deny the fact that he was one heck of a striker.

I hope he recovers with whatever the fuck is troubling him. He is young and he can still do good things on the field.

Obviously other replacements will be bought I was just suggesting that those were some of the buyings and sales. With Arauntovic he is a risk, but so is every young player. He looks like a player who could adapt to Serie A. Plus Alfonso made the big step from Dutch to English which is completely different. Serie A is slower and more technical, and Arauntovic looks like a player who has great technical, passing, ability and can clearly score.

The derby is considered high risk, that is why played early, although the idiots do not need darkness to start the stabbing.

I see this game as a draw but I am still very confident that we will finish fourth.

Floccari says that money won’t be the deciding factor when he leaves Atalanta. In that case, clearly he’s heading for Roma. ;-)
