VotD: Who Says This Team Doesn’t Have Pace?
By: chris | May 20th, 2009Striscia La Notizia has done a little segment clocking the speeding of a number of players from a number of teams on their way to training. This is the Roma edition.
Unfortunately Menez’s segment isn’t shown, as he reportedly veered off into a ditch despite being the only car on the road.

I lost a lot of respect for Schnappi with that car. It’s not even about money; his family is rich.

btw why does anyone who is rich have a big car? if KA likes a smart dan he damn likes a smart
on the country, you should bring up respect for him,he doesn’t show his ‘richness’ to other people by driving a car bigger than your egobravo alberto! (even tough it’s a damn funny view

jesus, you forget how bad italian tv is until you see that kind of shit. so they were doing 60mph. wow. and i thought the smart car was the nicest of the lot,
much more quintessentially Roman than the rest, i wonder does any of them drive a cinquecento? Schumi used to drive a 500 to maranello when he was testing for ferrari. sweet.Posted from

I’m so confused…why is it that the top teams who have good forwards already get new fowards every year??? Juve pick up Aumari last year when they already have Del Piero, Trez, Iaquinta, Giovonco; AC Milan linked with everyone and their dog and they have Kaka, Pato, Ronaldhino, Borrielo, Inzaghi, Scevchenko; Inter have Ibra, Balotelli, Cruz, Crespo, ect…. It doesn’t make sense to me.
Meanwhile, we get fowards who aren’t forwards and who aren’t proven except as a flash of brilliance now and again… i.e. Baptista.
What is more confusing is why these top class strikers want to play for the same clubs and battle it out against other strikers instead of being top dog at their club and being a part of building a great team. I know they want money and trophies, but it just seems like devotion to a club and or a cause is lacking.
One other thing…you could call it a smart move by Genoa, and I agree picking up Floccari and Aquafresca are great moves, but they are made at what cost? Why sell Milito? He is proven and he revolutionized their season…there was no need for an uprade.
I would have like to seen Aquafresca at Roma, how much is he going for???

When I went to Trigoria Simone ran over my foot in his car, bastard. They were brand new too, and they have a perfect tire tread over the toes. By far, he had the best car though. Aquilani was driving his mini when I saw him. Maybe it is his commuting car.
DDR was the nicest and accomodated everyone’s requests for pics and autographs. Vuci was a bastard and slowed down like he was going to talk and once people started to walk over, he sped off resulting in a lot of angry Italians.

Don’t call Vuci a bastard…can you imagine being hounded everywhere you went. It would be overwhelming to stop and accomadate everyone everywhere you went.

If any of you around here know “J” please take the time to read the Italic words on his post, and if possible, wish him luck.
For the game of football, the man is a jewel!

Aqui’s car is funny, but I love his car the most. I have more respect for him than ever. He shows that he’s not the typical spoiled brat who always shows off the family’s richness. But then again, some of my rich friends are very modest and you just can’t tell how rich they really are.

KA drives a smart to convince Rosella to give him a payrise…
no jokes Smart is very trendy in Rome and also very convenient for parking in the city centre. And BTW Totti has one too, I’ve seen a clip of him driving it around Rome.
