I didn’t mean to imply that ticket sales should be the main source of revenue. If you got that impression, then I apologize. However, a vibrant and present audience is the foundation of a solid organization and is what will allow a club to survive and even thrive in lean times. Other forms of revenue come spring from that. Fan presence creates atmosphere and that attracts sponsors.

Juve is the leader in revenue because they are Serie A’s biggest franchise, and I would like to add that they did not get that way because of TV revenue. The TV revenue came because of who they are.

Fadayn I think you’re right about the league TV deal. I probably will shake things up a bit.

yes, and i agree with you about that.

the tv revenue will be distributed more equitably. the bigger clubs will get less, roma’s will almost certainly decrease.

Also Chelsea averages 41,588 out of a possible 42,055 seats.

I suppose the amount Roma makes from the new deal really depends on the total package. I would hope that the deal would bring us more revenue. Perhaps Rosella should buy some lottery tickets.

So, in this latest round of CL action, Inter ties, Milan loses, Juve ties, and Fiorentina wins. Of course, I’m pretty pleased that they’re all faring so poorly, but in the big picture of trying to hang on to that 4th CL spot, this isn’t a good thing.

Yes, celebrating the demise of calcio in CL is – for Roma fans – the equivalent of burning down our own house.

the points earned (2 for a win and 1 for a draw) are dividied by the number of clubs and germany has 3, italy 4.

    on match day 2 italy earned 1 point (4 points / 4 teams) and germany earned… er… less than 1 point (2 points / 3 teams).

Though the stadium leaves a tiny little something to be desired in its exterior (but must say it looks good), the stadium is supposedly very environmentally friendly according to its architect. Glad that Roma mite be one of the first stadium with solar panel powering. Also, the stadium looks awesome at night.

Why not design the stadium in the shape of the silhouette of Franco Sensi’s head (hat and all)?

I like the stadium, but I would rather prefer the stadium of a shape like COLOSEUM! Roma is known with gladiators so it would be verry cool to see a colloseum and eaven called it like that.

Rosella Sensi, this stadium is not worthy enough to represent the Italian Capital like you said it would! It’s boring..not enough effort being put at the style of the stadium. I don’t really like the tv strap outside of the stadium, waste of electricity. I want it to have a mix of the Marassi, Consol Energy Center, and classic old Roman that’s enviromental friendly. Maybe have a gate that’s being guarded by old roman soldier every home game. Fiorentina, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Palermo, and Atalanta, don’t please don’t follow this style.
