VotD: The Genius That Is Francesco Totti.

By: chris | November 25th, 2009

I love videos like this – the singular focus on one player and his movements throughout the match (similar to Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait). This one goes back to the Stamford Bridge trip last year, focusing on that Totti character and the vision which leaves one absolutely breathless. How does he know that teammate will there at that time? And how the hell did he do that?

A good watch provided you can stomach the gross talents and tremendous football IQ of one Alberto Aquilani.

Chris simply has to do a Primavera write-up soon!

Derby della Lanterna starts now! Gonna be a great game, I think!

Watching the Genoa-Samp pre-match build, up, it’s obvious that the English press are right and calcio italiano lacks in atmosphere. HAHAHAHA!

You won’t see any of this on Merseyside tomorrow, I can promise that.

Cassano has shown in 20 minutes why Lippi will not select him. He’s been kicked a few times and is simply self destructing as a result, ranting, raving, losing focus. Really like Totti in 02-04 era.

i think cassano has shown great composure during those 20 mins, “kicked a few times” ? genoa players are clearly trying to break cassanata loose, all they are doing is trash talking and takling him, he redcarded biava (2 yellow cards by cassano) i think he has shown how dangerous he can be.

Actually I agree with you. They were instructed to go after him and it backfired. I am just trying to get over not seeing Anto with the nazionale this summer.

Taddei looks like he’s wondering why he plays ahead of the primavera-players.

Pettinari with the assist for Bertolacci. Him and Zamblera need to get a game in coppa italia.

“Lol! That certainty you have just discredits what you say on this board. A newcommer would think that you know it all, don’t you?”

Perhaps but this shit is already written. Talks with Totti, agent saying that Toni wants Roma, Toni saying he wants Roma and would actually take a pay cut. Only teams known to be bidding for him are Napoli and Milan, both teams with more money hence they will shop for better options than a 30+ year old striker with injury problems.

I want Pav! If Toni doesn’t come to Roma in January, I will admit that i think im a know it all, you got my word Dhaw.

“Him and Zamblera need to get a game in coppa italia.”

Zamblera? Nah. I just think he’s doing wonders because he’s much more physical than his opponents which he won’t be in senior footy.

Rather players like Sini, Bertolacci, Malomo and Scardina (who’s being preferred ahead of Zamblera)

Anyone who doesn’t want Toni needs a brain scan and maybe doesn’t remember who is managing Roma these days and how he wants his team to play.

Yeah, I’d much rather see Scardina as I believe he has much more talent (he’s also two years younger) and De Rossi Senior agrees with me.

There’s a lot of guys I want to see in the Coppa but I also want the team to go through. Sini and Pettinari would definately be enough for me!

Damn we have a lot of players that should go out on loan next year: Malomo, Bertolacci, Frasca, Citro, Florenzi, Sini, Scardina, Pettinari etc etc.

Forgot to quote you Bash. Yeah though, he was acting like a classless chump, i agree. True colors i must say, although the derby brings out the worse in a players sometime.
