I know! Its so frustrating when the programs run overtime or something and then the DVR does not have the “brains” to record the whole thing..

I have to say that Candeva guy is a freaking idiot… that’s all I have to say.. Dessena and Govinco are good..

Well, I was disappointed to see the horrible dive by Dessena, but apart from that- good. Giovinco and Nocerino are mature beyond their years. The worst thing about Candreva’s red is that he had barely come on! He ruined some good playing time for himself by poking the turkish players head– how stupid is that?

Nocerino was invisible… so unless he’s a DM he had a terrible game.. He was rarely troubled with all the Turkish players being sent off and not attacking.

Hey guys, I left a comment on the Serie A blog by Francesco. I am really getting serious about sending a message to FSC. They have got to hire some competent people to handle non-epl coverage.

well, I have never really seen Nocerino being any kind of attacking threat. He is very defensive-minded and not much passing ability.

Nocerino and Lanfame playing well…Cant wait to see them at Palermo

So it seems like Inter have tapped up their 3rd player in Hleb.. He said he’s leaving Arsenal and they can’t do anything about it.. Calderon also says that Man Utd can’t stop Ronaldo from leaving if he wants to..
This Webster clause is leading to complete chaos and some serious lack of integrity on the part of both the clubs and the players..

Inter has never had transfer integrity, I wouldn’t blame that one on Webster.

hahaha.. good one.
I was just watching tv and a blue screen popped up with the words Intermedia.. I read it as Inter Merda.. hahaha..

i dont think you can blame any of it on webster, the situation he was in at hearts was terrible, the chairman there (a lithuanian) came in and wanted to make the team whole-ly lithuanian eventually, sosome players got phased out, webster being one of there top players wanted to leave due to the firing of the hearts boss george burley, who had led them to the top of the league but had differences with the chairman, so romanov (the chairman) stopped the new manager from playing webster, and a whole lot of hearts top scottish players where sold (pressley, hartley to celtic, etc) which led to webster invoking a fifa by-law. which in turn has turned into this fiasco. so blame hearts of midlothian fc!not webster! who incidentally hasnt played much since then (he moved to wigan, then rangers anti-football club)

Kudos to Gli Azurrini.
Chivu playing tomorrow?
Lord I hope he does.
KJ, me and you, have no more beef.
Official. *handshake*
Predictions for tomorrow?
I see a 2-1 Roma, but in my heart I want 10-0. I hope Chivu gets it the entire match.
Either way SEMPRE FORZA ROMA CON TE

brad.. you are right.. FIFA are morons to have such a rule. There should be a ratio. If the contract has less than 2 years left you go off at your remaining salary, if you have 3 years left you can leave at 1.5 x your remaining salary, 5 years left then it’s 2.5 x salary. Something like that.
So say Kaka has 3 years left at a salary of say 6 mn per year then he goes for 3 x 6 mn = 18 (which is his remaining salary) x 1.5 (for the three years left) so he can go for 27 mn euros.

The feeling coming from media reports and the Zampa site is overwhelmingly indicative of an imminent purchase of Roma by Soros. Obviosuly nothing is for sure until its a done deal and anything can happen but this is the first time that all signals are pointing to a takeover in the near future. Perhaps its almost time to change our mercato wishlists?
As much as I hope for some quality signings, I hope we don’t go crazy and just start buying up stars for the sake of buying stars and marketing them. 40-50 million euros on transfers in addition to the sales of Mancini/Espo/Giuly should give us what we need to be in great shape next year.

brad, given the massive change this is going to cause in football, I think Webster is at least partly to blame. I don’t know the legal particulars of the ruling, but at some point it should’ve become pretty clear how monumental this would become. At that point the best choice would’ve been to simply fall on his sword and wait to be shipped out in six months or so.
And Bashar, I think the courts decided the particulars, not FIFA – as idiotic as Sepp Blatter may be.

Chris is right, the courts (TAS) decided it about the Webster ruling. Same happened with the Bosman arrest a few years earlier, also the courts decided that. I agree with Bashar tho about how much a team should get for a player who wants to leave but the FIFA/UEFA won’t let that happen I guess.

Bashar enjoyed that eh?
