I don’t think we need to sell anyone who can contribute. If we can find a new home for Montella and Gloria that would be great. But only if we we use what money we have plus possible sales/loan for a really good CB.

These sort of rumors always crop up during breaks – whether or not a transfer period is open. The 10-gagillion sports news outlets in Italy need something to fill all those pages/minutes so they resort to flat out making things up.

It is sort of amusing, I think.

Nice video, though a more upbeat song wouldve been nice…too bad theres not a better clip of Menez first volley, they all seem to be grainy and far away.

Id be utterly shocked if they sold Mexes, and if they do, I would imagine theyre in more trouble than we all thought, financially speaking anyways.

for what its worth, Id hang on to Cicinho as well.

I really think all we need is a CB. I doubt we will find the forward we need at the price we want this transfer period. I hope for the best, and that is Roma gets a great back up CB who can also start and that our reserve forwards come forth and shine. It would be great if Montella’s salary could be off loaded but I doubt it will. I really believe he has some amazing games left in him, so let him play while Totti is out. Okaka will get better as time goes on as well. Roma is going to have to play their best football for the rest of the year because they have to win every Serie A game they can and really shine in the CL. Which is going to take defence, hence a really good CB for the transfer period. Hopefully we see some great play from Pizza man and KA again for the CL. We do not need to sell anyone who can contribute!!!!Nothing is lost!!! Roma can do it!!!! Do not spend money on a forward who is not as good as Montella or Okaka so that we can wait till the Spring. We can win through good defence and the strength of our team. Happy New Year.

aye, with no doubt a cb is the cryig need. There are some decent ones out there as well as young’uns with great potential. Hope we can net someone who will not be much
below the starters when he is in there. Everything else can be put on hold, I believe. Happy New Year, y’all.

marco andreolli would be perfect in this case but oh well. I’m with you guys tho, no forward is needed, only a defender, also a out and out outside midfielder would be nice, we have none

I love trollin the lazio blog. They have no creativity and revere cathal, an author, like we all revere Totti. Cathal is no fun to troll on though because his responses lack that sharp wit which gets the blood boiling. Very skim milk insults.

So what does that quote at the end of the video by DDR mean?

It looks to me like its something about what Roma means, and that it means pride.

    Am i right?

Daniele De Rossi is #30 on Goal.com’s Top 50 Countdown.
    Not bad…
…but not as high as I would put him haha.

sure I’d think Mancini would have a hard time to play as much as in inter but to leave after only 4 months?
well I presume a return to Roma is out of the question for most of us ;)
and if spal sticks to the 4 3 1 2 then we don’t need wingers like him (even tough Taddei does a good job in the 3 men midfield with Brighi,DDR when he played and Spal even played Cicinho there

btw has anyone noticed how Thiago Neves is doing at Hamburg? he had to replace VD vaart but he’s doing an ugly job, only starting 7 games or so for hamburg. He’s been voted into the bundesliga worst 11 so far. Glad we didn’t sign him…

As i see it our whole budget depends on qualification for the champions league or not. Florintina are going to be tough to catch, were 9 points adrift with a game at hand. January is the biggest month of this season so far. A lot will be decided this month…Milan,Torino, Napoli, Palermo and arsenal thrown in there. If we can qualify for the champ league this year i truely thing teams our finances may start to catch up to where a big team would need them.

Really is tough we had to lost Totti for the biggest part of the season. Menez you better become a man this month. Vucinic and Baptista must step up as well

As for Lazio and so on I’d prefer it if we didn’t visit their blog to talk shit. Then we wouldn’t have so many charming visitors here. But that’s my wishful thinking, methinks some of us really like having trolls here.

Anyway, have fun today. Take care. Make sure you’ll be able to write post. I’ll visit you the next year.
