…and I remember Chivu saying that all along…
If we don’t sell him now we will be forced to sell him this summer, otherwise we will lose him just like we lost Cassano for 5m with 6 months to go of his contract or even worse. We should sell him NOW! There is no more motivation for him, he knows he’s going…plus his problems could cause distraction and maybe tension in the locker…And I am not gonna point out that he is being booed all the time by the fans. Whatever you get now, you’re not gonna get much more in the summer…If he would be a european qualified for Euro it would make sense to keep him 6 more months with the hope that he’s gonna shine at Euro 2008….Not being the case, I would say JUST GO, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!Posted from

I say Chris is selling them! JCS: are you interested?!?

As for the booing: I think if he signed a contract extension, which is still an option, the crowds would rediscover their Amantino pride.

Supposedly the problem is with Mancini’s agent, according to Prade’ (Idk if someone already mentioned this), but Mancini seemingly wants to stay, and word’s out that he’s actually going to switch agents to sign a new contract.
I think there are few players in the world that can make things happen the way Mancini can when he’s in shape, and that integrate so perfectly in Spalletti’s system. If it’s feasible, let’s keep him. I really wanted Rosina, but we wouldn’t need him, so we should get a tall targetman, someone like Mario Gomez. And let’s keep Esposito. The difference between a big team and a good team is that a big team is ready for ANY problem/injury etc. A good team has to cross its fingers when one of their players is tackled, or if it’s cold out.
Hey, any news on Rosi? I find it hard to believe that a young player who played very well for Roma is having trouble finding room in fucking Serie B Chievo. Let’s loan him to Pisa, obviously they don’t let the fact that they don’t own a player stop them from raising him right.
Oh and I think Spalletti sees Vigiani as a true alternative to Perrotta. Makes sense from a tactical standpoint, but I really think we can do without him (call me shallow, but I just don’t see any team at Roma’s level going after players like this- who knows, maybe he’ll, if he does come, make me eat my words.

Dhaw, this video would be great if it didn’t have so many spelling errors in the texts
And it would be greater if they didnt show images from stupid Chronicles of Narnia (which really sucks).
The music is really good though

God, I so wish that this video had intelligible English.
The editing is b.r.i.l.l.i.a.n.t., but we can’t show it to non-tifosi just because of the English.

Today Spalletti, for the first time during this transfer window, acknowledged that the team is looking for possible acquisitions for this transfer season, mentioning that a center-forward may be needed. Also today, Reggina seems to be looking to buy Graziano Pelle’. I think Pelle’ is the closest thing we have to the next Toni, and if Reggina can buy him, so can we. Any chance Roma could be on his tracks as well? I’m really hoping so (plus, it wouldn’t hurt to have some more Italians on the team, especially considering the foreigner-control regulations which will probably be put into act sometime in the near future).
Oh, and Okaka scored again today. Does our attacking future seem bright or what?

Pelle is Toni with better ball skills, and still young enough to be molded into a system. While I’m not sure he’s the perfect buy for right now, this season, he’d be a helluva future acquisition.
I apologize for disappearing so much this week. I capped off a week full of migraines and all their lovely side effects with food poisoning yesterday. I’m doing the Atalanta stuff now, but if you’re in the US, Catania is playing Rubentus at 230 on FSC. Good time to check out this Vargas character.

I think it’s precisely the fact that our attacking future looks so bright that makes Pelle’ somewhat redundant. He’s an investment for the future and I wouldn’t mind taking him, but it’ll be years before he finds some space.
