spencer, i was just doing the same thing and found those three players too…
    However,

Salvio is way too well known and people already know who he is, so why would this jose alberti guy want to keep his name hidden. Also, his transfer fee is rediculous for us.

Then with Matias defederico we see a lesser known player, but my friends who have seen him play tell me he is the next messi if anything. He doesn’t have that bull stature. So i don’t think it is him.

Then there is Gabriel Hauche. Not too well known, young, and for all i can remember he hasn’t been linked to anyone else notable. He is nicknamed the demon, 5′6 so thats tevez like.

And if you squint really, really hard, he looks like tevez…. pic below

Yep, I was thinking of Salvio as well. I remember a while back we where interested in him but nothing eventuated. Plus he was called the new Tevez. Vangioni, Blnaco, etc. Most likely Salvio who’d prob cost 9 mill.

Yeah, it would seem that the description of an Argentine international who is the next Tevez could only be describing Hauche, though Salvio or Defederico are possibilities as well. I would be happy getting either of the first two.

“Guys, do yyou know any left-footed striker who can shoot as powerful and accurate as Batistuta?
yes, I’m playing FIFA and am looking to buy a left striker, lol.”

Van Persie but the thought of him in a Roma shirt makes me wanna puke.

I just found something that I thought was interesting about Hauche. Apparently he has already played over 160 professional matches and he is only 22!

The problem is even if we get a young kid with tremendous potential we will not be able to hang on to the player for long.

so if Bayern does not do well in UCL this year, will that ease the pressure on serie A for UEFA coefficients?

couple that with a stupid sttutgart and a progressing fiorentina, Serie A will not lose its spots. But Inter are still going out tomorrow. And to think we kicked Kyiv’s ass at their home 4-2

These next two games are huge. Our history vs English teams and our continuous battles with Inter. Add that to our injury problems and its not pretty. No doubt Ranieri will be up late Wed night thinking about how to play the right people. I don’t see any way other than that a lot of the same people that play against Fulham will play against Inter.

What makes me feel worse about us not being in the CL is that Unicredit is a CL sponsor. Every game has one of those damned signs in the background.

speaking of unicredit… my friend’s friend worked for some german firm that sent out a hilarious memo to employees about their meetings with unicredit. i just heard a few excerpts from it, like “do not leave paperweights on the tables because the italians may become angry and throw them.” and other things to not leave around. not sure if that reflects a. jokes that germans like to make about italians, b. how business meetings actually go in italy, or c. how UNICREDIT meetings go, specifically.

Dhaw, the thing about Roma is that its got a great environment. Fans are passionate, the city is great, the team is pretty succesful, etc. Believe me, if young players wanted to leave, Mexes, Vucinic, etc would have left a long time ago. Also apparently, two of the Sensi’s hotel’s have been seized due to the debt. Its starting to crumble for them.

Hasnt played for argetnina but he has been playing very well, and scoring heaps. Ahhh I just want to know who it is, so we can at least have a bit of joy (unless its Martin Palermo :) ).

“Van Persie but the thought of him in a Roma shirt makes me wanna puke.”

Apuzzo, I know him, but he’s too well known and I just don’t like him. I prefer buying either relatively unknown players or those I like (Podolski and Silva – haven’t bought either but I will).

So far I’ve only bought Tymoshchuk, B. Alves, Hulk (to replace Baptista) and, of course, Cassano.

I definitely don’t wanna collect Messi, Cronaldo, Villa, Kaka, Iniesta, Xavi, Cesc, etc all in one team, heheh.

If you’re talking about Fifa 10, the only players I have bought so far are Pazzini and Candreva. Oh, and I brought D’Alessandro back (who I have been scoring heaps of goals with).
