Why would you rather possibly be relegated due to incompetence in ownership than have a guy who is a true businessman run your football team? Despite him being a major ass, he’s an unbelievably successful businessman that would treat Roma like it is, a business, and Roma would reap benefits from it.

What do you guys know about Mathias Cardaccio? Supposedly (according to goal.com) he’ll sign with Roma really soon.

All I know is that he is a 20 year old midfielder playing for Nacional. 1.70 m (5′7″) so he will fit in with our Oompa Loompa brigade. 27 appearances and 1 goal in the last 3 years in Uruguay? Am I seeing that right?

In the U-20 world cup in Canada he started 3 games (Spain, Zambia, USA) and had 1 sub appearance against Jordan. He scored only one own goal against the US. That actually equalized the game and sent it into overtime where the US won.

I am not amused.
