I reckon that Barca is not only the best in the world as well, they absolutely thrash every team on their path, but that LA LIGA is far far superior the the epl. La liga is the best league in the world.

My team is Villareal. I love the yellow submarines, and I’m sure you already know, but they are the only udefeated team in all of football and 1 point below Barca.

yeah mimo, barca is pretty damn good. every time they came forward they looked like they were going to score and when they didn’t i was surprised. it’ll be interesting to see how they do against villareal and real madrid.

on Spal’s substitutions, I havent viewed him as a risk-taker for the most part. Even in games that are not going well. He almost always errs on the side of caution (read, out-of-form oldies with limited upside vs newbies-who-could-make-things-happen-or-not). For all his tactical awareness, he has a tendency to keep on the known elements for as long as he can- not substitute them at HT to even send a message. For eg, we all observed that there are games when Vuci is OFF. If not for tactical reasons, he could put Vuci more on his toes by making his spot more competitive, using Menez as an early sub. Bottomline is that there will be some like DDR, Mexes etc who are fighters- they always try, and dont need a kick you-know-where. But, others like Vuci, while talented do not have the same appetite for fight- they need to be kept on their toes.

just a random thought while watching Barca TV on FSC.
I have watched pretty much all the Barca games this season. We will probably not hear it even as sleep-talking from the english “pundits” on Sky and FSC- but if you had to call a team the best on the planet right now, Barca is the most credible choice. They want us to think it has to be an epl club- Chelski, or Lvpool, specifically. But the way Barca have been playing most games, not just the style but also simply blowing away opposing teams, they are in the best form. So much for the pretty-footie revolution in London, Barca are the real deal.

Is it me or has Spal not made any substitutions, none, when the 2nd half begins. Even he the offense needs obvious offensive power, his illustrious subs seem to happen around the 75th minute and beyond. Now, isn’t that just a tactical deficiency?

Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, 5 min is retarded. Menez should have been in at least at half. What Bologna threw at midfield might have been broken by his runs.The end of that game was just about the most disappointing that I can recall.
