Totti is out for 3 weeks.. I dont know where his hope of playing against Man Utd came from.. Without Ferdinand and Vidic I’m sure we can score a couple goals.. I’m just worried about our defense.. Ronaldo and Rooney will probably score.. So we’ll need like 3..

I think that I love totti so much, that I decided to hurt my hamstring today to feel his pain. Not really, but I did slightly tear it ¬_¬

Without Totti, this game will be incredibly tough. All sources indicate he will sit this one out, but I’m going to wait until the squad list is announced before passing judgement.

It’s back to were it ended for us last year and quite honestly, it could not go any worse this time. But that’s really a non-statement. After the game, we all said we deserved to get more out of it and on a different day it would have went differently. Let’s prove this to be the case. If we are to lose this one, let’s lose go down fighting to the final whistle. Let’s give them hell.

If you tell me that we will start Perrotta and Mirko, and Aquilani in his normal position playing deeper next to DDR, I have every belief that we will cause them damage and ask questions EARLY at Old Salford …

    Totti or no Totti.

Speaking of strikers, those who hoped Amauri would never play for Roma got their wish: whether we wanted him or not, he priced himself off our list just now.

Sheva show. At least I’m hoping so …

    Louise Taylor at the Riverside
    Monday April 7, 2008
    The Guardian

Rio Ferdinand will join Nemanja Vidic on the sidelines.

Rio Ferdinand was helped out of the Riverside last night with his injured left foot encased in a plastic surgical boot and Chelsea’s title hopes seemingly being revived with his every faltering step. The Manchester United central defender and current England captain sustained the injury, which will almost certainly rule him out of Wednesday’s Champions League game at home to Roma, during a thrilling 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough.

Rumor has it that Roma are after Tranquillo Barnetta again. I know he is in Leverkusen’s midfield….I assume he plays on the wing?

I think in order to even hope to attract a top striker in Amauri, Sheva or Gomez’s class, Roma MUST make the switch to a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-1-2 b/c NONE of these guys are coming to sit behind Totti. I would LOVE to see a 2 striker formation next season and have Totti, Vucigol and someone like Amauri rotate for the 2 spots.

haha indeed. I was like damn Juan shaved his head when they shwoed him during the break. Barnetta can play right or left wing, sometimes also play the role Perrotta is playing.

    And some Soros news:

The 15 star players of our liftetime with Totti at #4.
I’m happy with the list. Baggio and Maldini are untouchable legends, while Batigol.. I don’t mind him taking the 3rd spot because he helped us win a scudetto :p

Not a huge deal but West Ham are sniffing around Italian talents now that they got that new transfer manager Nani.

“Nani has already given Curbishley a glowing report on Brescia right-back Marco Zambelli…”

I believe this is the same Marco Zambelli that we have a first option on. I don’t like all this sniffing around our targets (especially for a team that took 1 or 2 of ours.. Faubert is the one i can think of). Get away! Grow your own players.

    France’ 100% out …

So we’re going there with Mirko on co-own, two Bosman’s on the wide, and a natural defensive midfielder at our FANTASISTA lol!

Roma will win 4-1 I promise you.

Now I scout Barca for the next round …

Channel 4: “Montenegrin marksman Mirko Vucinic will lead the line with Amantino Mancini and Rodrigo Taddei likely to play behind in the trequartista position.”

Taddei’s good, don’t get me wrong, but I do not see him as effective as trequartista. I would take Aquilani or Simone in that position before Taddei, in fact.

Apparently there was an article in La Gazzetta stating that he doesnt want to wait until June and would make an offer for 200m euros soon.

That is the background story, zack. La Gazzetta is sometimes reliable sometimes bs…

This Soros rumor has been everywhere the past couple days.. I don’t think it would go through at 200 mn.. The club was valued at 250 mn earlier and now it’s value has increased slightly for sure.
