I told you we’ll probably see the Milan midfield again:

not sure if anybody already said this, but Gazzetta gave Ambrosini a 6.5, which was tied for the best on the team.

Caroe, It’s irritating when you buy half of a player and then their value skyrockets, but it’s chance you’ve got to take. If we bought him for 11 million straight up a couple seasons ago, and he turned out not to be a good buy for us (until 6 months ago, he still had played very few good games for us), then we’d be asking why we bought a player who had only proven himself on a small team. In retrospect, every deal can be improved upon.

And it’s not just Rosella. Milan did something similar: they sold half of Borriello for peanuts, and just paid many times that to get him back.

So we sold half of Vuci for 3.5 millions and now we have to pay 12 million for that part?

i was concerned they wanted to swap him straight up for the other half of vuci. i’d give lecce half and get the kid some playing time. i wouldn’t give them 100%, no way.
