Inter appealed Muntari’s ban and there was no increase. I dont think Mexes’s ban would be increased just because the club appealed. And you never know, it might get the ban reduced.

I am not sure about that, but in this case their is virtually no chnace of it being increased so an appeal should be made.

To appeal is dangerous. As far as i know, its not wise to do so unless you have solid and indesputable evidence that what you’ve done is worth being excused and overriden. If you dont do that in the appeal, it leads to greater sanctions and penalities.

Thus, not too many red cards are appealed….

Bashar – There is a big difference between dissest and foul/abusive language in the laws of the game. The punishment for the former is a yellow card, while for the latter it is red.

I believe that we will often have these incidents referees like Di Marco whose refereeing constantly creates problems.

Inconsistency among how referees apply the laws of the game is very common, but the disciplinary sanction is inexplicable. I hope we appeal because this could ruin our season. Our first choice central defence has only played together once in Serie A and constant changes to the starting line-up will only impede our chances of escaping this crisis.

What’s the difference between dissent and foul language?? Nothing.. Besides.. if he yelled at the referee afterwards or refused to leave then they can ban him for more.. 3 is harsh as 2 games would be more fair.. 1 for the red and another for yelling.

As stated earlier: (1) Mexes is a dumbass, thus, he deserves what he got. Let’s all not make excuses for him. The saddest part is that his actions hurt the team more thane himself.

(2) HolliTotti should not be back for this, or any other game soon. Whats the point of him playing a half-assed 45 minutes or so, when his leg is not 100%? Most likely he will get kicked by some Inter players and ends up even worse. a LONG TERM, healthy Totti is better than a short term, “half impacting” Totti!

Mexes’s 3-game suspension does not make any sense. He was sent off for receiving 2 yellow cards, which shows that his second yellow card was for dissent not foul or absuive language, consequently what he said could not possibly merit a 3-game suspension. All I can think of is that the referee was mistaken and should have shown him a red card for what he said, but as soon as I knew Di marco was the referee I knew we would have problems because his incompetence has cost us before.

So Totti hurt himself again? He needs to chill out. I said before he needs to not touch the field till he’s 100% ready, even if it means October or November.. But he just keeps trying to come back too fast.

you are having horrible time with injuries at the minute and that ban for mexes is just ridiculous. everyone knows inter are cheating but we need juve to wire tap their phones! who are you having in defence then? and who is inter?! you have to beat them i fuckin hate the lot of them especially mourinho and ibra they are all gypsies
