Nice sentimental piece. One glaring Omission in this ode to Sensi is the fact that they have over +370MM in debt and AS Roma SpA is the only entity that is curently in the black. The fact that Sensi are purportedly talking to a rogue currency trader u former concentration camp survivor w. a billion dollars laying around or the British hygenist or the Thai transvetite or the American textile millionaire are very compelling clues in deducting that Sensi is at the table not because they necessarily want to be but perhaps out of necessity in which they have no choice but to come up for that last gasp of air. It should also be mentioned that before our debacle in 2004-2005 that Sensi brushed aside the Russians and an Italan consortium led by the Roman, Claudio Toti, failed to get any traction and never seriously materialezed an offer. So I think that Dottore Sensi has a pretty good guage on who he’ll ultimately deal with and the fact that i Lupi have been on a roll now is a good time to exit rather than risking everything built and gained up to this point. The recent quote by Mister Spalletti when asked about the clouds of change in new ownership put a bow in that his response was succinct and contrary to what the company line has been in recent weeks,. . . stay tuned.
