And if DDR can’t reach the ball to stop it, he’ll just throw Guily at it to deflect it away.

I am a bit sad that Guily is leaving this summer..but probably doesnt fit into Spal’s plans next season as well.

I wonder if Spal will try 4-3-3 next year with a new striker in the squad.

Daniele, I hope so. Even if he doesnt start, he is a great player to have on the bench. Since he supposedly put in his transfer request, I am not sure if he will be happy to stay.

Hmm..good question, I read it somewhere and then no counter statement from Guily– so thought it was 80% true. Might be a rumor, now that I think about it.

Ya.. There was a news story about it but it could be the media creating all sorts of problems.. like with Cicinho. It came around the same time of the Galatasaray interest. Guily played more than Taddei this season, although most of that has been substitute appearances he has gotten quite a bit of playing time. He hasn’t been a starter though. Regular CL and Serie A football or starting in the Turkish league and UEFA Cup.. I think he should stick around.. Then again I’m biased.

Besides with his ability to play in Taddei’s and Perrotta’s roles he can find himself in the starting lineup really quickly.. They have both been in and out of the side due to form and injury.

Bashar, I agree that Guily should pick a team where he can get UCL and top league football, which can only be Roma now. A top 4 team of the top leagues will not take him at this stage in his career as a starter. I am expecting him to have a bigger impact next season if he stays.

Guily will be 32 this summer, I think he should stay at Roma and play from the bench. I hate to say this but sometimes he looked tired when playing a longer time in a match

Gabs, yes he probably loses more energy running on his little legs!

A random thought after Barca appointed Pep Guardiola as their coach– What kind of a coach might Totti be about 10 years down the road?

If not he’s been a great addition (aside from 1 handball). Lets not forget he basically changed the Milan match for us after he came on. 6 goals and 8 assists or something is really good off the bench.

But yes.. He has looked a little lost at times and has kinda left us more vulnerable to a counter.

Totti doesn’t want to be a coach. He wants Bruno Conti’s job. Or something of the sort.

Totti wud bench Doni for big games, since I strongly suspect that Doni walks under a ladder before every big game.

I love how totti is playing the mind games. And I read an article on C4 today how they are going to try and get roma’s fans to be able to go to catania, because it would be fishy/favoritism if they could not and inter’s could.

I’m not as crazy about the Juan signing as everyone else is. He goes down with injuries way too much for my liking. Yeah, he’s a solid player when he isn’t needlessly taking out Livorno and Torino attackers and he scare me less often than Mexes, but I’m not as high on him as everyone else seems to be. He’s played nearly 10 games less than Totti who has been injured for half of the season. When that is your best buy either we are overrating the player or the transfer season was miserable.
