I’m sure Liverpool gravely miss Riise’s services, since he was so good an all (except for the own goal of course).

i do not know what the deal is with him, perhaps it is just that he is having trouble converting to EPL play (again i have not seen him in action there), but it is interesting to consider where he might wind up if Liverpool aren’t satisfied and going to use him.

just looked at those dinner pics with the team.

i cannot believe Totti took them to la Villetta. i do not know how the food is (it is hard to find bad Italian in Rome except on the Vento and around Navona and the Pantheon), i guess it is kind of a ‘Roman favourite’ of sorts, but that place has the rep. of being like Patsy’s in N.Y. – more tradition-hype than good food.

i have not seen Dossena play with ‘pool, but i thought he looked very solid with the Azzurri. as rumours report he is not performing well in England, they might be willing to sell him in a good deal. i wouldn’t be opposed. he seems to be opne of the brightest young prospects in the peninsula.

Looks like Riise said no to the transfer to Newcastle in January. He wants to stay. Is that good or bad news?

Any suggestions for a CB that Roma should get after they grind Gloria up into Fresh Ground Chuck and sell him per pound wrapped in wax paper? I would like to see more youth added but I would also like to see suggestions for a young and vertern CB.

I’m thinking they’ll run the the 4-3-1-2 tomorrow since Lecce has such a good home record and want to be conservative or they go 4-4-2 to try and get out front and stay out front. What do y’all think?
