I also see a sort of pattern …
last year we signed Cici from Real and got them in the 1st knock our round
this year we signed Baptista who played for Arsenal

I was hoping for Atletico but we draw Arsenal. A matchup that should be excelent but im tired of drawing the big clubs. Shit, its happening evenwhen we win our group.

Drawing Arsenal is R-A-D. That’s right, it is so cool it is 1980s adjective cool. Mostly because it will be the Champions League equivalent of Roma v Fiorentina this year. In other words, 180 minutes of not breathing properly. To our credit, Roma rises to the occasion save first league matches v Inter. To their credit, Arsenal rises to the occasion save mid table teams in the prem. It’s like we’re playing English us. I’ll say it again,
R-A-D!Posted from

Great, been wanting to beat Arsenal ever since Keown showed how “tough” English players are with a pathetic dive back in 2003 or something.

Taking the 23rd, 24th and 25th off… Think the 24th flying to London and the 25th going home, yeah it’s possible. Only ticket for the game I need then haha.
Oh gabs you moving to Rome? Expensive to live there or not? Still thinking to move away from Holland.

Nothing as expensive as rip off Britain and at least Rome is hot in the summer.
I’ll see about the tickets as soon as they go on sale.

Wow, how is it that everyone can guess our opponent for this “random” draw well beforehand?

Grazie Gabs. Was talking with a good friend to take a trip to Rome in the summer tho, maybe visiting Trigoria..

rayman, same when lyon and madrid drew us last 2 years.. Maybe to the Emirates and def going to Ajax – Fiorentina. Can’t I make a banner for the latter game for Mutu haha.

I am ok with the draw. We are able to knock them out…

Unfortunately it’s not the fans we’ll be playing, cayman.

well, we all knew that this was going to happen. Anyone know how long Theo Walcott is out for, cause I see him as our biggest threat. We have trouble defending players with speed.

Mmmmh… say that Roma vs. Real Madrid image looks awfully familiar…
