I dont know that Im entirely worried about the lack of a striker, Menez and Vucinic are offensively talented and provide a ton of flexibility in the attack and the wing.

In retrospect I think the Baptista money wouldve been better spent on a true striker, however, KJH above Totti, Menez etc would be pretty potent.

I just dont really see what Baptistas role will be

I hear ya Pauly, I wouldnt say Riise is a stonewall by any means, I just think his positives outweigh the negatives, and once the anchors of the backline are back, we wont have to rely so much on backups, some of whom are playing out of position anyway.

I thought for sure today wouldve been a walk in the park…this is really frustrating after all the expectations

Bren- I was out and Im back. Yeah, your right. I’d hate to be one of those people that doesn’t give a person a chance. The fact is that without many of the regular payers in the line up, with all of the suffling around, etc., it would be unfair to pin the bame on Riise, or to consider him incompetence. Lets wait and see uh?
