...and we're gonna have to get used to Totti being out more often. He is not 20 anymore and all the tiny little injuries he suffers have a bigger impact on him now. He should go back in the middle!!!

Vlad, Don't delude yourself, Chivu has been playing a lot for inter and playing very well, they have a very physical team and that is why they can geat results even when they play bad because they are so strong they can just push the ball in. Eventually they just wear down the other team

And mind, Daniele De Vezze is playing well for Livorno also, after a merry-go-round career since being so highly touted. I watched him v Empoli and he bossed the match in midfield.

Bring him back as well ...

LOLOL ... Suazo and Chivu? I meant the summer before when they bought Ibra!!!

As for a Romano Calcio FC, no question and I agree. My choices in the market would be Di Michele (i've wanted him to come home for 3 years now), Galloppa (having a blinding year), Amelia (for sure, see him this weekend?), a recall for Rosi, Freddi, Cerci and perhaps even Simone Palermo, who is destined for stardom as well.

To be honest, bring back Cosmi and Mazzone as the Romano e Romanista allientore "dream team" ...

And then put in the foreigner rule! Only 3-5 per side.

''What's important to me is the way we play the game''. Well said Dhaw. I would rather support a team of 11 Romans fresh off the streets than a team of foreign mercenaries like Inter. I even think the Roma as of late is fielding way too many foreigners. But hey, that's how European football is right now sadly. I remember De Rossi said in an interview that he would prefer a team of Romans, and that they have to mold the foreigners into Romans. Mexes is the best example, he`s more of a Roman than he is French. Roma don't need the support of the mass media and the rest of the world, they need the support of it`s people, and i have never known another soccer club that values the support of it`s people more than Roma.

Forza Gialorossi

My arguement is simple.

We havent spent money like water which is the case with Inter,Juve and Milan over the last 2 yrs or so. If without doing so we play such beautiful football and cause headaches to all those above 3 bitches then just frikking imagine whats going to happen when we decide to break the bank.

We win without Refree's help , We win without being bastards on the pitch , we win without spending shit loads of money and we play the game in the best possible way. We play with heads held high :)

At times winning the scudetto isnt everything ,certainly isnt everything for me cause whats important to me is the way we(roma) play the game. I wont be upset if we dont clinch the title this year cause i have great amt of faith in the Project which is put in place , what we dont understand is we r creating one helluva squad for the future and just need a lil patience. :)
Can u imagine what this team will be capable of next term with some reinforcements + Good Physios :P (we need the physios bad lol ). The king and his army will shake these lil cheats. U dont need stars , u need Passion.

Whats the point for Inter in spending so much money when they still have to worry that whoopsie daisy Roma mite just bite us anytime soon and overtake us. Its the fear and i love that :)

I love Roma and it wud be gr8 to win some silverware but end of the day its the Respect what matters and this Team is respected big time , we just dont realise it at times.

Forza Roma.

The answer is never

http://goal.com/en-US/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=555917

Live in denial folks... Seriously, someone needs to compile a youtube video containing all of the "offenses" in which Inter has been awarded a penalty. Also, statistics regarding penalties awarded and conceded for each team would be nice, although they wouldn't necessarily prove anything even if Inter has twice as many as anyone else. It would still be a nice reference point.

Len, Roma's ambitions are no less than a 2nd place finish in Serie A and quarter final berth in the CL.

While I agree that stars are important to a team's ambitions, there's no comparison as to who made the better moves last summer between Roma and Inter.

Let's see, Inter's big signings were Chivu, Suazo and... probably someone else, can't remember. Suazo has played about as much Prade', and Chivu is getting just a bit more playing time than Kuffour...usually out of position.

Giuly has played extremely well for Roma, brings huge experience to the pitch, especially in Europe, and his 4 goals in Serie A are 2 more than Suazo's (let's not mention the price difference). Juan has been incredible for Roma, cost about 10 million euros less than Chivu, and has been a secret weapon offensively as well.

So yes, Roma needs another few great players to make a stronger push in all competitions, but I'd rather finish in 2nd place every year, like this, than spend exorbitant sums of money on players we don't use.

And let's not forget that Inter has 12 men on the pitch every game.
