This is a test run to see if we can launch RomaOffsideTV where streams to games are provided in a post (told you it was fancy). Hopefully Azzurri v Mirko proves it possible. Enjoy.

Nevertheless…I think the argument stands. Roma with Totti could conceivably win the Scudetto, but if he’s injured I don’t think it’ll happen, too reliant on him.

No, there’s a difference between Totti and the tactics they’ve used without him this year. When Vucinic played as Totti does, they played exceptionally well last year. Even better than with Francesco, sometimes. But they’ve inexplicably changed that this year and had Mirko & Baptista playing as a more out and out striker than they had previously.

the problem roma has had is because of juan and mexes not playing. if a team doesnt have good defence this transmits through rest of the team and they dont feel like they can play like they know they can its all to do with confidence. look at palermo we have moris and bovo and we are playing bello! championship winning teams are built from the defence up

english commentator of course, railing against Quagliarella’s injury at the end. “disappointing by the world champions. their tactics of time wasting”. maybe he is right, but the camera shot couldnt confirm either way. so assume the worst, i suppose.
