3 from Philly… I feel your pain Kyle. I’ve been here my entire life and have never been able to grasp any team the way I bleed Giallorossa. And no, NO good venues for La Magica. Perhaps Caffe Italia in So. Phila, but only if you like Interisti e Juventini… cazzo di merda!

there are some bars that show games, but for the most part i dont go out to watch the games. i pretty much root for roma in solitude. there was a cafe that sold panini and cappucini and stuff. the guy there was straight from turin though. occasionally you see someone in a roma jersey, and by occasionally i mean 2 or 3 times in the 2 years that ive been rooting for the team.

    Doni
    Cicinho, Mexes, Juan, Riise
    De Rossi, Aquilani,
    Esposito, Perrotta, Vucinic
    Baptista

or a 4-4-2 with Vucinic and Baptista up front and Esposito and Perrotta on the wings.

    My take on our lineup.

will espo be playing though? i thought we were talking about selling him. and although he scored twice this preseason, his play has been terrible apparently.

one of the goals shouldnt have been allowed anyway.

that right wing spot needs to be fixed. does menez play out there or are we just assuming that if he is signed he’ll play there?

Well.. if Taddei is fit it’s his spot. But we have very few options on the wings. If we get Menez or Obinna it would be his but we really don’t have many options.

    Actually!!!

    ………… Doni
    Cassetti, Mexes, Juan, Riise
    … De Rossi, Aquilani
    . Cicinho, Perrotta, Vucinic
    ———-Baptista

    BTW.
i spent much of the summer in philly near the jefferson campus in north (?) philly. there’s a place there called Milan’s Pizzeria near chinatown. they show games. they had the Trofeo TIM goin up there and i saw Roma-Tottenham there. But lots of Milanista.

    Agree Bashar,

We’ll see a lot of cassetti cicinho on the right and Riise Tonetto on the left.

And I don’t think Menez is the right guy for us. Spalletti wants someone who can defend the wing too.

MENEZ IS THE ONLY GUY FOR US!!!

He’ll DEFINITELY be playing more D than Mancini was last year or Mirko for that matter. Taddei as a wing does generally drop back and help the D out from what I’ve seen.

sorry if i came on a bit strong but i would really love for jeremy menez to come.

    Kyle,

thanks for the advice. i am pretty much stuck alone too. would love to see some games with other fans around though - even if they were Milan fans booing Roma. i sort of thrive off of the underdog thing. plus its even sweeter when we kick their ass.

    Bashar,
    Bashar;
Perrotta doesn’t play well in the centre. rather have AA there with Pizza’ near DDR.

no way is Cici going to play up on the wing. where you are getting that idea from? he is great as an attacking fullback alla Cafu, but he couldn’t play wing.

    gio,
I think Cicinho did play the wing sometimes last season (for example against Milan) and we did a great job there!
As said before,Cassetti/Cicinho/Riise/Tonetto can all play on the wing IF NECESARRY
