Ciao Mancini.

Its a catch 22, isn’t it? If he plays shitty, we don’t want him but we can’t get much money for him. If he plays well, we can get alot of money for him but we want to keep him. Honestly, I don’t think he played that well today. he scored 2 goals that were beautifully set up for him, other than that, he did next to nothing. I think his pricetag might have taken a rebound because of the 2 goals, but he really didn’t impress or show the kind of form that he has in the past. I’m still all for offloading him if we can get a decent price for him (and I don’t mean Iaquinta).

If you really think our choice is Mancini or Lavezzi, there is no choice, Lavezzi will be the best player in the world within 5 years. I really don’t see Napoli letting him go, although who knows in this business.
With Napoli being my team 1b I really hope they keep him, but if he is leaving there is no better place to send them than to Roma!Posted from

Agreed Lorenzo…
Again… Ciao Mancini.

Ironic that I Lupi had the first dibs on Lavezzi (& Pato) and we turned ‘em (both) down. Now that Napoli have Ezekiel, I doubt there is any price that could get their attention

Mancini was spoon fed, twice. Aside from that he wasn’t terribly impressive.

That is exactly his problem. When he isnt spoon fed and fucking sucks.
Ciao.

damn it Mancini, I would like us to keep him but only if we get someone as good or even better than him to start over him and make him play his best to get ont he team, when he plays at his best he is amazing

Yes, but how often lately have we bitched and moaned about a guy being spoon fed and failing to finish? And what’s the one thing everyone wants so bad? At least he did that today.

His second goal was a total mistake of a hit
But it sure did work out perfectly. And gosh, is that rare when it comes to finishing this year

No matter the outcome of the Mancini Saga, I would never say a bad word abt this guy:
-he came in dirt cheap
-he gave plenty to the society
-Despite Totti, he is the other really technically gifted player, pleasing our eyes.
-he is right to seek a better future- with us or another clubCompared to Chivu, this guy is a Saint.

I still love Amantino , for me he comes after Totti and De Rossi ! if i were Roma i would not sell him before Perrotta Taddei Esposito etc ! he loves Roma ! and he deserves a better salary !

Compared to Chivu, Amantino is a saint? Now I really have heard it all.

Chris, are you sure the title of this piece isn’t supposed to be heading up the “Picture of the Year” instead?

No to Mancini

He must stay

All my respect to Mancini for everything he has done for Roma. I will always remember that heel against Lazio. He is great, but he needs to go. He wants more money that he is not gonna get at Roma. It is simple and Roma need, desperately need to learn how to make a profit on a player. I am sick of buying players and lose money on them. Sell Mancini to any team in the Premiership.

Chris, yes he did it. But does it matter at this point?
It could…
But where was he against Livorno, or Man U, or Inter. Whe nwe NEEDED the points.
That is my only gripe.

mancini had a bad season…there’s still a reason why he’s got a 20-30 M euro price tag…

Everyone except Roma fans thinks Mancini is great. He had a bad season, but he’s a great player. I mean, did you guys watch the video? He can take on 4 defenders and a goalkeeper and still score from 20. I say keep him and see what he does next year. I would hate to see him go to Inter and play great.
