GHD QF: Francesco Totti v Taribo West

West:

I really can’t explain the West phenomenon to you, I really can’t. One of the guys I thought could give Totti a run for his money in this tournament, Fab Colo, was ousted in dominating fashion by Nigeria’s future leader of state. I guess it’s time to give him his due, but Coloccini is no Totti. Not even close.

Anybody else notice the bald spot in the first pic? No wonder he always keeps a spot in between antennae.

Totti:

A commanding favorite, but what else would you expect from Rome’s modern day demi-god? The first one has me considering revoking Pavel Nedved’s title of best in-motion hair. Last one clinched it.

Totti

gallery.totti.apHow rare is it that someone is actually commended for spitting on another player? If this guy can get Kaka The Prophet to nearly lose his cool, he’s got to be real bad.

The last one has become the iconic photograph of the Great Hair Debate for me. That’s just superb in so many areas, and a big kudos to whoever snapped that pic. The new king of in-motion hair.

I should just change that poll to “Will Taribo get a vote?”

Yeah, of course I voted for West, but it’ just for the principle. By the way Chris, nice job posting 3 pics of West and 6 of Totti. :D

Chris, I’m delighted! You found the Poulsen picture. Thank you. And Totti just happens to have fabulous hair there too.

And I think Kaka pretty much did lose his cool with Poulsen - he got carded and was limping by the end of the game. Good grief!

Good mix of the long and the short with Totti. Looks money either way. Best part about the last shot is the perfect length chops.

Each time I see a short haired picture of Totti I get the urge to vote for his opposition.

yeah i agree, the bald spot on taribo wests head, basically ended his chances of winning the great hair debate.

but i disagree; the king-in-motion hair will always be pavel nedved. you could post a hundred pics of totti’s hair in motion, totti cant compare to pavels iconic hair.

    :]

Tina you are dead on the bald spot, its impossible to wind this contest with that kind of thinning.
