This Thing Is Rigged

To brighten up the fact that Roma drew Chanmester Poonited……Spalletti!

Also, that title? Totally random at the time. Now? Not so much.

Speaking of ManUre, according to Wikipedia:
It was decided at one of the early board meetings that the club required a change of name to reflect the fresh start they had been afforded. Manchester Central and Manchester Celtic were among the names suggested, before Louis Rocca, a young immigrant from Italy, said “Gentlemen, why don’t we call ourselves Manchester United?”[13] The name stuck, and Manchester United officially came into existence on 26 April 1902. Davies also decided it would be appropriate to change the club’s colours, abandoning the green and gold halves of Newton Heath, and picking red and white to be the colours of Manchester United.

Ah, Roma and the Red Sox… it’s like I died and went to internet chat heaven. Shall we just call Manyoo the Evil Empire now? That ugly crest befits it.

I totally agree you can’t compare calcio/football teams to american sports. American teams are organization, franchises, corporations, whereas calcio/football clubs are actually sporting clubs. With that said the comparison to the Red Sox is close, but only if we’re talking pre 2004 Red Sox. Now the Red Sox dominate and the Red Sox fans are either annoying and pompous or glory hunters or non sports fans in pink hats. But if Roma where to win Champions League and dominate Italy and Europe the next couple years they’ll again be on parallel with the Red Sox, i.e. pink Totti kits.

I just hope that everyone will be in their top form in both man utd games. We were without perrotta, taddei, aquilani and tonetto last time. Chivu was also crap last time (remember smith’s goal?), juan would do better ths time, i’m sure. Also cicinho will help a lot with his pace.

If you want to watch football hooliganism, watch The Real Football Factories International. Danny Dyer does the interviews, he was in football factories the movie. Anyways it was very interesting to watch, he does go to Roma to watch the derby but he doesn’t really get to meet any active Roma Ultras. I know in Canada they are showing it on the Score on Sundays.

KJ Ventimiglia as soon as you call Romanistas biggest pussies you ever came across you are going to be offending everyone of us. Personally I came across a couple of English fans while at a bar. They thought they could make fun me because I’m Romanistas, usually when I go out I wear somethimg that has Roma on it. I am differently not the biggest person but Roma is in my heart. I stood face to face and said if they want to go we do it wright fist to fist non of this bullshit with weapons. Nothing happend they turn around and left. Playing hockey for a long time has helped. So this is one non Romanistas pussie plus his family who live in Roma.

Please nobody ever refer to my beloved Roma and that piece of shit baseball team that plays somewhere in New England ever again. It leaves a horrible taint on the Giallorossi, so much so that even when you separate them back out again, a little stench still remains.

I think Spal figured out Milan. I think he also figured out ManU. I am positive about both games.

Shall we sign Adriano???? and who is responsible for him ending up being an absolute mess?

Daniele, I would expect a pretty good turnout since it’s Roma-Milan and we are trying to make a push on an Inter team in disarray.
