i meant defensively. they were closing down everybody and battling for every ball.

i think gattuso should be man of the match, he was simply on fire today.

Let me guess, you're a Milan fan? Gattuso has been good. But Ambrosini? Time for him to be taken off. His passes have been atrocious. Either DDR or Montolivo need to be brought on.

I got the stream working eventually, but thanks.

Naw, typical IOC stuff. When you have a drug test YOU HAVE A DRUG TEST. God forbid life happens.

I actually suspect it's only a matter of time before we hear of the WADA/IOC/national OC of choice suspending someone for missing a drug test when they're actually dead. I'm not even kidding.

Sorry Chris, but when I saw your post "Totti doping," I nearly lost my lunch, and immediately had to verify / discount it, as I hadn't heard anything about it.

Turns out somebody just had an itchy trigger finger, that's all. There's no reason to think Il Capitano is anything but clean.

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/12102007/58/serie-totti-doping-case-dropped.html
From Yahoo Eurosport UK:
"A doping case against Roma and Italy striker Francesco Totti has been dropped following an initial investigation.

Italian FA's website featured a statement saying that its Federal Court of Justice had agreed to archive the case after a request from the Italian Olympic Committee's anti-doping unit.

It gave no details of the possible offence committed by Totti but Italy's ANSA news service said the 31-year-old had been late for a routine doping test on May 13th.

It is understood, however, that the reason for his tardiness was the birth of his second child, which occurred on the same day.

Anti-doping authorities were obliged to conduct preliminary investigations but were not compelled to release news of the offence publicly. If new evidence emerges, the case can be reopened, although this is unlikely given the circumstances. At no point in his career has Totti ever been implicated in the use of drugs.

A key player for Italy in their 2006 World Cup triumph before retiring from the national team afterwards, Rome-born Totti scored 26 Serie A goals for Roma last season and has continued the form into the current campaign."

Donadoni is sending out an experimental side on Wednesday against South Africa and is making new call-ups on Sunday so we may finally see Rosinaldo on the field for the senior side.
